When we were
in grade school, we would salute the flag every morning with hands over hearts proclaiming “one nation under God.”
Worshiping with a Johannesburg church today, I glimpsed a global kingdom of God that encompasses believers from all
nations. The heart of the church is bigger than its local congregation. It is
an identity and authority before all others.
