Attended my first ever soccer match – in
Johannesburg of all places. A local friend was able to score us six tickets for
$10 apiece to the African Cup of Nations, held in the new stadium built for the
World Cup just a couple years ago. Sadly Bafana Bafana was eliminated the week
prior, but that didn't stop us (and many South Africans!) from sporting yellow. We
loaded up on braii beforehand and then hopped on a minibus to the game! Great
memories!
